This was a commission for stormfaerie. I was so excited to do a Yuna since I had had plans for her for a while ^_^
There was so much detail that went into this pony. I first had her rehaired and then realized that I couldn't get that Yuna hair look without sculpting so she got scalped lol.
Here is a reference pic for those of you who do not know what Yuna looks like [link]
Here's a custom hair tip: hair dryer. Yep, with synthetic hair, hair dryers tame out of control hair that likes to permanently stick up. Here's an example of a custom I tamed with a hair dryer: [link]

That's a fantastic rendition of that costume. I'm not too familiar with pony expressions, but this one is a really good fit for the character! So either great choice of expression, or.. great choice of character to ponify.
Your level of detail is very high, it's impressive, and the painting's good quality. I kind of hate the outfit on a human but.. it kind of works on a pony! Good call on the sculpted hair.
All in all - fine work! Bravo. :]

Hi! My name is Jasun. I like things that are interesting.
Thank you ^_^ Well I had two ponies in this pose/expression. The first I used for Rinoa and when I got the commission for Yuna this pose was perfect for her as well. I love making the ponies expression match the character.
I am not to fond of this outfit on a human either I am very pleasantly surprised that she turned out so well ^_^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Those details were well worth any trouble you went through to get this done. ^_^
